For 17 years I wrote detailed reports on the Montreal International Fireworks Competition. 2009 marked the 25th anniversary of the event and I decided to hang up my hat and stop writing detailed reports. These were interesting before the advent of YouTube and video coverage of the event. Now anyone can watch any of the displays – indeed, I post videos of my own for members of my forum. So its was time to move in a different direction and post subjective articles on the displays that I will watch. Feel free to comment here and on the forum.
