i have tried to produce some colored-smoke, and worked out the following one for yellow:
Potassium 25% Sulphur 16% Orpiment or called Realgar 59%
They worked yellow color, but i don't like it very much, anybody have the way to produce purplish or the similar color? Hope to hear from you. Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Sun

Sun,

this forum is not really the place to ask these technical questions. The formula you present above is extremely dangerous and toxic as it contains an arsenic compound. I suggest that you need to invest in some modern text books and do some reading. You will then discover that smoke compositions use a formula that burns at a low temperature and uses an organic dye to produce the smoke.

Cheers,

Paul.
