A new version of this display softly debuted last Saturday and will last until mid-August. Likely designed by Eric Tucker (not sure, but Tucker has designed previous displays at Disney, so I guess he is behind this one), this new production is a "perimeter fireworks". Though the pyrotechnics are usually launched from a limited set of "firing ramps" on the north side of the park (behind the castle), this display uses nine launching areas located along the park perimeter in a semi-circular shape (from back of Splash Mountain on the west side to back of Space Mountain on the east side). I am sure that many videos of this display are already available online, but you will find one of good quality following this link: http://www.wdwmagic.com/Attractions/Summer-Nghtastic-Fireworks-Spectac ular/Video.htm Fred |
