Posted: Jul 29, 2004 11:56:46 The short answer is no. In order to sell products in Canada, they have to be tested and homologated by the Canadian Government's Explosives Regulatory Division. To pass this test, all samples of a particular product have to perform consistently and also be manufactured from approved chemicals. There are also weight limits on the active powder for each type of device (this applies mainly to consumer fireworks). For more information on this, visit the ERD website at: http://www.nrcan.gc.ca/mms/explosif/licen/licen_e.html I'm sure you can get all the information you need from the contacts section of the above website. Cheers, Paul. |
