I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy Canada Day! I hope that everyone will enjoy any local festivities that may be taking place! Weather conditions are expected to feature hot temperatures across S. Ontario to S. Quebec, along with continued very high humidity, making it feel well over 40 C in many locations. For those most vulnerable, please reduce exposure to the hot/very hot and humid conditions.

However, please also note that severe weather continues to remain favorable ahead of a passing cold front through the day (late-morning to mid-afternoon for S. Ontario, and more late-afternoon to evening for E. Ontario to S. Quebec). Widespread severe thunderstorms are possible, and the main threat with some of the multi-cells will be damaging winds and local flooding. Storms may evolve into a large squall line late in the day.
