this comp is my favorite because that the compounds are so easy A to find. I do not know if there is a person in this forum which know also this mixture but would like to leave a discution on this subject.

Zinc/sulphur is more used in rocketry where it is known as "micrograin" propellant. The main disadvantage is that it is extremely heavy compared to other compounds used in rocketry. In general, the lower the molecular weight of the exhaust compounds, the better the rocket's performance.

Speaking of rockets, what do they look like? I was never able to identify them.

the rocket shown in the photograph is not a fireworks rocket but is a "model rocket". There are many clubs of people who like to fire model rockets - some of them are very sophisticated and include video cameras to film the flight.
