Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any fireworks that are taking place either tonight or tomorrow night for St-Jean Baptiste? Is there a link to a schedule of events that is available? I can never seem to find anything specific.

I live in Southwestern Pierrefonds and was looking for any display that might be taking place near Pierrefonds Comprehensive, where fireworks are common. However, I didn't notice any decorations set up there both this year and last year, so I suppose they're not holding anything special in that area any longer. I spotted a display coming from Ile-Bizard last year, though, so I guess I'll focus my efforts there.

Other than that, weather's great tonight and tomorrow for any fireworks!

Vaudreuil/Dorion always have a good display down by the river - I've been a few times in the past and it's always a great show by Les Soleils de minuit. See http://xiv-mtl-igu-005.com/SITES/DOCS/050_vaudreuil_01_portail/6102009 105223.pdf

This is today, 23rd June.

I read in the Metro this morning, there will be fireworks in l'Ile-Bizard - Sainte-Genevieve, Laval-Ouest and Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue tonite.

Tomorrow, Pointe-Claire and Dorval.

Here's a video clip I took of the fireworks display coming from l'Ile-Bizard. This is looking to the North and was taken from my bedroom window!

Btw, thanks for all the information, Paul and Mylene. Maybe next year I'll head to Vaudreuil to catch the display there.

I Look forward to Canada Day displays next week.
