Hello everyone,

I just had wanted to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Canada Day! Unlike last year, though, the weather's more unsettled (take a look at my Canada Day weather report for more details ), but don't let that ruin your fun! Many parades and other festivities will be taking place out there during the day, whether it's rain or shine. And, of course, I'm sure that we're all looking forward to whatever local fireworks displays are taking place. Better yet, if you're planning on attending the display in Ottawa for the occasion, you should be in for a real treat. I saw a really nice display last year in Dollard-Des-Ormeaux at Pierrefonds Comprehensive - hope to see a similar one, or better, this year!

Other than that, welcome to the hottest month (and my personal favorite month) of the year!
