Thx for the help and info.

I have a question.

Are these the soundtracks that are usually played before the fireworks? How long have they been playing for since the competition started?

Anyways, I'll check the links you posted. I already have the Chariots of Fire downloaded on my computer, so I'll just see the others.Thx.

Ok, so those are the songs played before the fireworks and after they're all played, it's leads right up to the countdown.

I wish they played Conquest of Paradise as well! lol!

As for the Italian soundtrack on the video clip, I also find it relaxing! Yes, it is a very beautiful melody. I watched it last night.

About how long they've been playing these songs before the fireworks since, I don't really know for sure.

I've been attending the competition since 1990, but back then, I really didn't pay much attention to the songs before the fireworks! I was only 6 and I was only wanting to see fireworks in the air! I didn't care about music! lol! Maybe they do go that far back, I really don't remember.

Hey Enkil, do you know if Micheal Lacroix will be back next year?

Oh yeah, how long have you been to the competition? Did you start coming the same year I did, in 1990?

i dunno if Micheal Lacroix will be there next year, prolly will

me i started watching around year 1995

I think he was only there for the closing show.

Ok, so you started in 1995, I started in 1990, but when I was just a year old, my parents told me that they took me to see a display in 1985, the year the competition started. But, I only was taken to one or two of them in 1985. My parents occassionally went in between the years 1985 to 1989. But, I officially started watching the entire competiton from 1990. I go pretty far back! lol!
