A 1990 video of Syd Howard Fireworks' first Montreal fireworks display was recently uploaded on YouTube, along with a short behind the scenes commentary. I'm assuming the countdown was also done by Michel Lacroix back then. That must be his voice! Sadly, the finale is not a typical 90s style.

It really is nice to see highlights of a display (and some behind the scenes) from 1990, which was the first year I began attending the competition! I don't recall if we saw the Australian display that year, though.
