Thanks for the info Enkil.

Just got back from the fireworks and I have to say that I haven't seen an ending like that since Spain in 2001. I thought Spain did something similar that year, I'm sure Paul would agree with me about their ending that year, yes, it was similar. Anyway, this was a very well done finally and my heart was pumping like hell!! lol

I just knew Canada would win! YAHOO!!! Go Canada! I rooted for them all the way. My prediction was Canada, Italy and then Australia or the U.S, I can't really remember. But I'm surprised the U.S didn't show up at all, strange..... or Italy, but I knew Austrlia would be my next bet and I had the strangest feeling that China/Hong Kong would get in there somehow. What a turn of event.

Well Enkil and Paul, I'm eager to see what you guys thought of the ending and the display in general and how the ending was similar to Spain, providing you guys saw Spain 2 years ago, well I know Paul did. And tell me what you guys thought of the outcome of the winners.

Hey Enkil, I'm sure sure your cousin got a kick out of that one, I mean for sure!!

Anyway, it was indeed a very tight competition this year and it was hard to figure out who was going to win. I am soooooooooooo looking foward to next year's competition!

Oh yeah, Paul, how much people do think showed up tonight?(estimation).

Well it was a very good year weather-wise(except England) and more than 50% of the dislays were to my liking. You guys don't forget your opinions. Paul, I know you remember Spain's ending 2 years ago, it was breathtaking, like tonight except Spain was a little more intense and colourful in the end, sigh....I'm beeing spoilt. Portugal could have been up there if they had done something similar to last year.

Well, I'm eager to hear what you guys thought. So I'll see you guys tomorrow and we'll talk more then.

Oh yeah, one more thing, congrats Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chow,

Trav.

Trav. i posted on
http://www.montreal-fireworks.com/forum/index.php?action=vthread&forum =2&topic=54&page=0&anchor=3

my cousin saw it from old port, she went with my 2 sister and some other ppl, i told my sister not to go there, cuz u cant see much, but as always she didnt listen, my cousin was new to this see i would have wanted if she could watched from pont Jacque Cartier, but my sister had to go to old port to meet her friends.. ahh it was all messy lamo, becuz of them and making a decision at the last minute (as always) i got a bit like at pont jacque cartier (like 9:40pm)

about the Spain, i cant remember if i went to it, i really dont, theres just to much have to watch i cant remember all lmao!! but i got a good memory!! overall

the ending was hella crazy indeed, the most funny part was when ppl started to leave cuz they thought it was finish, im like why u all r leaving it aint finished, but
not only that but the whole show was funny, i enjoyed it alot very kewl

i cant wait for next year too, this thing is really magicle, i mean i just cant get enought of it, no matter how much ive seen, the magic is still there, i can never get sick of this, and im so happy i have meet u all here, i learnd alot here, major thx to Paul for this forum, we never had a forum about montreal fireworks, im happy i can meet some fireworks fans

Hey Enkil, I 100% agree with you, fireworks do rule!! Anyway, if you don't remember Spain, it was similar to the ending last night and even better with intensity and colour, I still can't get over to what they did that night, I'm sure Paul remembers, ask him. Too bad your cousin couldn't see it where we were. She would have loved it even more. For first timers, that must have been a blast. Really, I can't wait till next year!!!!

I enjoyed it a lot, especially the ending. Enkil, I was actually starting to walk away as well an when I saw them continuing to shoot more, I'm like" THAT WASN'T THE FINAL????!!!!!!" I thought they were going to blast off even more and I began to start shaking like crazy. But it seemed nothing too much happened, but I admit, they caught me off guard, like Spain. My mom was even going nuts!

Nice hearing from you Enkil and tell your cousin to try and come back next year and get a better view. She would really like it a lot more.

I watch the fireworks on Lorimier and Notre-Dame intersection near the bridge. It's a good view. Paul watches at La Ronde and he gets a good view also and you watch it on the bridge and I figure it good there too. Not the Old Port. You have to watch at an agle and it's a lot harder to see.

Anyway, yes a big thanks to Paul for everything, like this forum, and nice meeting you Enkil.

I'm heading off to Ontario, so we'll talk later. Say hi to Paul for me. Thx for everything Paul

See you guys later, and tell me what you guys thought of the ending and the winners.

See you guys later, Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Monsieur anonyme,

Roger

I can not believe my eyes when reading this post.

Accusing someone of murdering another one like you do is ... sorry didnt find the right word. I am too much angry about this. We all loving him and no one wich his death.

I hope that Paul will delete such post that is making an innocent guy looking guilty.

I've deleted the message, much as it pains me to censor this forum. If anyone wishes to know the contents of that message, please send me an email.

As I've already said, this forum is for us to discus our passion for fireworks, not indulge in political and other fights. Please respect this.

I had no idea what that guy was talking about, but I don't think it had nothing to do with the competition at all, more like, acusations.

I'm sure they're some in Quebec city, but you might have a hard time finding them. I'm not even sure of the names of the stores, although I've been to Quebec City several times.
