Can the shows be broadcasted to a TV channel?

Years ago, the CBC used to broadcast a special program just before the start of each season. I don't think this has run for quite a long time, though, and I'm not sure if the current TV sponsors (TVA) broadcast any special programmes or not. I know that no-one broadcasts it live, except for the radio station, Rhythme FM, that simulcasts the soundtrack.
