Wow, Rachel! What a fantastic shot there! Happy new year to you as well!

I wonder if there are any displays taking place in Montreal tonight, or in Toronto. I'm also wondering if Vancouver is organizing something special, especially since the 2010 Winter olympics are commencing shortly. I know that there are typically some nice celebrations down at Niagara Falls, but It would have been pretty neat if Toronto used the CN tower annually for the New Years event.

Speaking of fireworks, I just saw a nice display in London for bringing in the new year, as well as in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Our turn is coming.
