Well, there was not much smoke = and yes I was there, punctual as ever, waiting since 7h30 for the show - and of course, it started five minutes earlier and I was not in front of my camera, having slipped on the ground from all the rain accumulated on the wood - fell straigth ahead face down, hit the knee pretty bad, my glasses protected my eyes and did not break and of course the arm which still hurts protected the rest of my body - and while I am on the ground, at 9h55, I hear the fireworks - no no no total panic - two nice chinese men helped me up
and the radio stops working, and finally got it to go again to hear the show on 105.7 and trying to hold an umbrella on top of my head, the water flowing from every direction, and me holding the remote control, while admiring the fireworks, the lightning, the thunder and of course, the incessant and furious rain.
Anyways, I feel better today, and here are my images of this beautiful display of colors and forms.
