From Paul's and Mylène's interviews, there is no sign of remotely-controlled flying devices this year (I suspected that it could be done again, given the "motions" part of the "e-motions" title).
That being said, having so many shapes done with lances is unusual. Such structures may cause a lot of smoke. Let's hope that wind velocity and direction - presumably weak and toward the audience - will not cause a screen between the display and the audience.
