Thank you for the recommendations. Although I'm aware of the population at La Ronde on fireworks days, I sort of like it like that since it does make the place feel under the right atmosphere; I remember how it was back in 90s.

However, it would also be best to go to La Ronde when the place is overcast and warm, like 27-30 Celsius and overcast. Considering if the lines are long, at least you'd get shade from the sun regardless. Not that I mind the heat, but exposed to direct sunlight is harmful for your skin.
In addition, being at La Ronde lets you have a nice view of the pyromusical display.

Hopefully, things will work out this year. And yes, I, too, am looking at the Goliath in utter admiration in addition to wanting to ride it.
Other than that, I'm curious in seeing how much La Ronde has changed since July 2002.
Btw, how many new rides are there now?
