Stardust is correct, there is sometimes a 6th piece of music (also Vangelis). This is usually only a minute or so before the display starts and, in the past, I used to use its appearance to note that there were technical problems and the display start would be delayed. It sometimes makes an appearance if the pre-display ceremony finishes a little bit early.
As for recording the music tonight, with the prize ceremony, the timings will be somewhat different and so there's no guarantee that the mystery piece 6 will appear.
I do find the music used quite atmospheric and a very important part of the overall fireworks experience. A couple of years ago, they changed the format and we had to listen to infernal banter from whatever the radio station was then that simulcast, plus Michel Lacroix was not hired for the pre-display ceremonies (save for the opening and closing displays). I found it disturbing and annoying that the familiar sequence had changed and wrote some fairly harsh comments in my end-of-competition summary that year. Happily, things returned to normal the following year and have stayed correct ever since.
