Fans of large calibre shells should head to Granby this week for a special show to celebrate the Fête National. Six secret locations will be used so people can socially distance but still see the displays from wherever they are in the town.

Sadly the government has forced this event to be cancelled.

It felt so strange not hearing the sound of distant fireworks on June 23rd/June 24th, or not seeing the usual local 15-minute fireworks displays in my area.

Latest news is the Granby event is going to be held on July 1st. It was cancelled earlier due to the fire risk, but recent rains seem to have removed that problem.
