Hello everyone,

I just noticed that this didn't go through when I posted it yesterday afternoon (presumably due to an error with my browser).

In any case, despite overall gloomy weather conditions, I hope that everyone enjoyed Canada's 150th birthday yesterday! I was told that local fireworks displays in the West Island dealt with moderate to heavy rainfall (from weakening thunderstorms) during most of the firing time, but the shows were thoroughly enjoyed by the relatively small crowds that gathered for the events!

This was the fourth consecutive year that Canada Day faced unstable weather conditions!
