I still wouldn't take out the possibility.
It could be just the "calm before the storm" scenario.
Although, as you say, Environment Canada is saying 40%, It's possible to fall within that 40%!
I just have that feeling.......
This reminds me of Italy in 1994, when we took for granted a 30% chance of heavy thunderstorm, and surprise surprise, it came, right before the display. Lots of thunder and lightning and one heck of a lot rain. So much rain that you couldn't see in front of you.
I remeber it so well. I literally looked like I took a shower!
Anyways, Enkil, if you and I see rain coming, make sure you've got a place to take shelter. I've probably got to go under the bridge! Be careful up there! I don't think there's anywhere to run on the bridge! Just make sure you bring lots of umbreallas. That's what I'm doing! I took a glimpse at Ottawa's weather and they're reporting light rain showers and thunder with a cool 20 degrees. Eeek!
Hopefully, it will hold off until after I make it to the car after the display. For some odd reason, I still feel that I shouldn't trust this weather. I've still got that feeling........
Anyways, enjoy the show. I guess we can talk more about it tonight, when we get back.
Regards,
Trav.
