Feux D'artifice Boreal Fireworks of New Brunswick won the Grands feux Molson du Canada competition held at Lac des Nations, Sherbrooke. Garden City Display Fireworks of Ontario came in with the second prize.

The closing show, out of the competition, was presented by Royal Pyrotechnie and featured a 730 foot long waterfall over the lake as part of a pyromusical entitled Rock en Stock. A very well designed show which was enjoyed by all, especially the surprising sequence of overlapping comets at the end of the finale.
