yes i did hear the storm, it was rain for about 5 min
but right now its sunny, with a bit of clouds

it was just massive cloud that passed by, nothing serious

again, its not a stable system

and again, we can either get heavy rain or no rain, but im sure everything will be ok, the more the night progresses, the chances of raining is lower

the Weather Networks will be updated again tonight around 7:30 (i think) if it stays at 30% or 40% i think it will be ok

I know what you mean! The chance pops up right at the last minute! I guess I was right. We cannot take out the possibility.

The airmass is very humid, which fed that storm. It was a well organized system, from what I observed and plus, I had the opportunity to see it develop. I can tell you that those cloud formations were so beautiful. I was even going to take a picture of those massive towering cumulus clouds! They were simply astonishing. They just blossomed so quickly and when I heard the thunder roared, I said "oh no."

Well anyways, The Weather Network still says a 30 or 40% chance. I'm really going to be looking out for anything, when I get there. The rain gives no breaks to fireworks, sometimes! Lets hope we're spared, like last time! I also think we're just talking for nothing. I doubt it will happen.......................maybe.

its happy to say, that we have pushed back our vacations

if everything goes right, i will be able to attend Wednesday's night show

unfortunality for me, i wont go to Germany's show, becuz ure going to the US, theres no way we can go another time

althro i know it bad for me to miss Germany, but i just wish the winner will be the country i saw, i hope...

this year i went with the car, becuz i made a deal my sister and plus my aunt also loves fireworks, so we always went with the car

but maybe next year i wont be able to go with the car everytime, but i will be on Parc Jean Drapeau like i used too

I'm not sure I heard much on the radio last time. I thought I heard Eric talking about something, but I couldn't get it. Sorry.

And who knows, maybe you'll change you're mind next year. I mean you might actually consider viewing form my area most of the time next year!

BTW, did you watch on De Lorimier last time, or were you on Notre-Dame? I think I said this already, but I decided to go to my old area last time, for old times sake! That place was at the steel gate on Notre-Dame. An excellent viewing spot. Right in front of the whole thing. The reason for this is because some of my other relatives decided to come, so they wanted to go there, instead. It was great to be back!

As for the weather, yes it will be hot with a 20-30% chance of precipitation, followed by varable cloudiness and relatively light winds. It will be humid and hazy. Dewpoints and humidity levels are on the rise! This will increase humidex readings, once again! Typical summer day.

However, the only slight problem is the weather for tomorrow evening. I think there's a small low pressure system coming in 2 days, so I'm not sure if the chance will increase tomorrow evening, although I'm sure that nothing will happen! Well, I'm just not ignoring the possibility! Tomorrow evening's forecast will be revealed tonight.

Also, tomorrow is my birthday! I think I told you already, though, but it feels good to celebrate my 20th birthday with a display from the 20th anniversary! It's a treat, as well as an honor!

Yes, I just saw and read the press release. Hmm...2 towers. Reminds me of Holland's show. I think this show is going to be very creative and unique! The title also reminds of Portugal's, last year, too. I read some more information and background on the E-mail that Mondial SAQ sent me. It's sounds interesting.

I wonder if they will blow out paper and cardboard everywhere, like in 1993! This was the firm that represented France that year!

Anyways, if you do go tonight or whenever, I guess you can tell me all about it, I mean if you saw it, the towers. It looks good! Enjoy the view of the casino, too. It's really beautiful!

Perfect summer evening tonight! No threat of rain, like the last 2 times, although nothing happened, except for that loud thunderstorm in the afternoon, last Wednesday!

The temperature will be at 26-28 degrees, but because of high dewpoints and high relative humidity percentages, it will make the humidex values feel like 31, or more, degrees Celcius. Basically, a very hot and humid evening! The winds will be light in nature at 10km/h, coming from the south.

As for the display tonight, I think it should be good, because of the towers and choice of music. I have a feeeling it will be very similar to Holland's show, but I'm hoping and looking for a much stronger finale! I'm sure that the general concept will be intriguing, though.

BTW, if you're going this morning, could you tell me if you saw the towers and what they look like?

Hello,

Germany is getting very lovely weather tomorrow. The only problem is that it's going to be cooler than we've experienced recently. The high during the day tomorrow is about 22 degrees followed by sunny skies, which may help raise the initial temperature. The winds will be relatively light in nature at roughly 15 km/h from the northeast. So, not a bad day, in general.

The only thing is that it may be a bit on the cool side in the evening. Definitely a big difference in what we felt a couple of days ago! All this is thanks to a small cold front coming through, bringing cooloer and drier air as it does. I hate that! Well, could've been worse. At least it isn't raining!

The good news about all this is that tomorrow looks like the only cool day. After that, it really gets hot again, as of Sunday into Monday. Also, looks like Panzera is getting a sizzling day! A high of 28 degrees, or more, with sunny skies! (So far)

Could this actually be a year with all displays getting blessed with excellent weather, despite some of the cool nights in the earlier parts of the competition? I think this would be the first time, indeed!

I just got the latest update of tomorrow's forecast for the Panzera closing show and it looks pretty descent. It's calling for a 40% chance of precipitation under mainly cloudy skies. The winds should be light in nature coming from the east at around 10km/h. However, taking into consideration the high dewpoint values mixed in with the relative humidity at 74%, the humidex readings should be constant at 29 or more degrees Celcius. The high tomorrow is at 23 or even more, depending if we get enough lift and solar energy. Appears to be a comfortable day! I love it!

However, I've yet to see the evening forecast, so I'll let you guys know what happens, as soon as I get the update later today!

Well, I have received some great news!

Tomorrow evening's forecast was just revealed! The forecast is calling for clearing in the evening with variable cloudiness, followed by a 20% chance of precipitation. The temperature should still be steady anywhere between 22-25 degrees, depending on the location. Humidity should drop to about 67%, while humidex values should stay just above the initial expected temperature. As for dewpoints, they should be mediocre, but not enough to get really high humidex readings, since the air won't be that dry. So, there will be some moon, but a lot of cloud.

In summary, a great evening for the closing show! This actually may be my final weather report for the competition! And what a perfect weather forecast season it was. How ironic to have it on the 20th anniversary! What a blessing, indeed!

Does anyone remember another year when this happened? I think I recall another one...

Anyways, if they're any changes, I'll post them, or if you guys see anything, please let me know!

Well, this is a turn of event. This is my fault, I should've said the absolute latest forecast!

Sorry to say, but despite my "last weather report," the forecast has gotten a lot worse. This evening's forecast is reporting cloudy skies with showers. The winds are still light in nature with speeds of a small 5 km/h, coming from the south. Humidity is on the rise at now 88% and I suspect that dewpoints will increase from their initial value, since the last 24 hour period. This should mean that the air will be more dense since humidity is high and thus, the airmass will possibly be unstable. The dynamics are definitely there to create rain showers and possible embedded thunderstorms throughout the day.

However, the good news is that all of this is a 40% chance. In the past we've had the threat of rain, with even higher chaces, like 80%, and yet, nothing happened.

The only problem is, we've had an outstanding and unbeatable weather record for this year, the 20th anniversary. It's possible and logical to assume that something could happpen at the last display.......I doubt it!

I hate this! Enkil, any updates with Environment Canada?

The Weather Network says the same thing. Cloudy with showers and a 40% chance. I'll also check some weather maps and check this airmass and some other weather map sources. They should give me a rough interpretation of this low pressure system.

Let me know of any changes. I'll update any reports at that time, if neccessary.

I'm a little worried because it's raining quite a bit out there. Who knows, we might get lucky! Here we go again!

BTW, are you going up front on Notre-Dame tonight for the Panzera closing show?
