That will be the show with more cues this year, right ?

I think so! Michael said they were using 160 32-cue modules (so potentially 5120 cues), but I doubt every module has every cue used — so I think it's closer to 4000 — which would be about the same as Lux Factory and PyroItaly.

Cue counts are down 10-15% or so compared to even last year — where we had shows with 5500 cues. In 2022 we had shows with over 6000, and back in 2019 we were up to 7000. 2018 was the year of the peak cue count: Dragon has the record with 9525; Pyrotecnico the same year had 8952. Ricasa in 2016 had ~9000 and all of these beat the previous record holder Pyroemotions/PiroDigiT with their 8727 in 2013.

I fondly remember the 1990s when Eric Tucker would win Gold with around 2000 cues!

I'm still wondering how much the Dragon Fireworks show cost with so many cues (and the other big shows too) ?

Dragon is the biggest and best display I've ever seen!

I guess all we can say is these displays almost certainly exceed the budget provided by the organization. If I were ever to become a billionaire, I'd try and put on the best display ever seen at La Ronde 😂
