Lars,
In that sense, you're quite correct. Well, as I said, it was a neat way to celebrate with fireworks on top of buildings over the already bright Las Vegas. It seemed pretty nice, but it was just for the new years celebrations. Despite the materials used and the way it was designed and presented, it seemed very authentic and enjoyable, none the less.
As for comparing Montreal's competition, well, there's really nothing to compare when interpreting products! It's different in terms of what one expects and also the level of anticipation that is clearly demonstrated. Just remember that this was for festivities regarding new years, not for a competition, so we can expect a lower variety of products in a show like this.
To conclude, it's always nice to see a nice fireworks display over a city like that!
Don't worry, Lars, I'm not disagreeing with you. I agree with your interpretation of products used vs. Montreal, but what I'm saying is that it's for 2 different purposes or events. Expectations will be different in both these contexts.
Anyways, good to hear from you, Lars!

And I'm still hoping that you can make it this summer, despite that big assignment that you have at the time. Miracles do happen! something can happen in 5 months!

It would be great to have you discuss with us on each show. You always have good insights and opinions, so it would be great to stimulate discussion!
Regards,
Trav.
