Interesting,

It is true, the difference between Explosive Entertainment and H & S is remarkable.

I do prefer Explosive Entertainment "fast action" displays, but their finales are bad. But they are better than H & S.

Smoke, did you realized that the finale resembled a lot to last year's Holland? I find them very beautiful, but they're just not intense enough.

Enkil,

Personally, I never did like finales like that for 2 reasons. First of all, there's no variations, just redundancy. Secondly, the effect will be the same, just building on and on. Of course, I find them very beautiful when they trail into the river, but this was more suited for a segment in between rather than for the finale. I'm pretty sure everyone looks for color in a finale. But yes, it is beautiful and yes, it was similar to Holland's ending last year, though that was slightly more intense.

To be honest, before the display started, it was pretty exciting to see some fireworks during the wait. I was expecting them around the usual time, but not big ones like those. I hope it will be like that for the other displays, too.

Regards,

Trav.

I agree with Craig N yes that company is out of business but I believe it became an entertainment company which also does displays and the designers behind all the great displays in Montreal are still there so whats the problem.Let hope one day we see them return here under whatever name.A firework company is only as good as its design and operators people forget that.
Who cares about your statement lots of companies change and change names we just want to see an Australian company who can deliver.
Wasn't Explosive Entertainment International once Syd Howard Fireworks?I think so I saw there show in 2003 was the best ever what's in a name.
If they are now in the Middle East can the organisers please bring them back so I can be proud to watch an Australian show again.
Cheer up Craig N
