MONTREAL, June 30 /CNW Telbec/ - At 10 p.m. this Saturday July 2nd, the
International des Feux Loto-Québec at La Ronde welcomes the pyrotechnics firm
Fuegos Artificiales Jupiter from Argentina, which will present "Passions of
the South," a sultry pyromusical tango that will introduce Montrealers to the
inhabitants of the southern most country in South America.
Under the direction of Mario Gaston Gallo, the Argentinean team will
present "Passions of the South," an epic pyromusical hymn that explores the
language and cultural differences between Montreal and Buenos Aires. "Passions
of the South" also pays tribute to two styles of artistic expression that
celebrate our differences: fireworks and the tango. Montrealers' passion for
fireworks as well as Argentineans' passion for tango will be combined in
perfect harmony to dazzle the eyes and ears of all spectators.
The theme being in line with the musical score will comprise the music
that most represents Argentina: the tango. From Carlos Gardel to Astor
Piazolla and Mariano Mores to Thanghetto, the Argentineans will present
pyrotechnical pieces from across the world perfectly synchronized to special
effects guaranteed to take our breath away.
The family firm Fuegos Artificiales Jupiter was founded in the late
1960s. During the 1990s, the company created a pyromusical presentation
department that quickly earned several large international titles.
