La Ronde's International des Feux Loto-Québec - ROZZI'S FAMOUS FIREWORKS of the U.S. promises a show of pure reverie for the Montréal public
MONTREAL, July 26 /CNW Telbec/ - At 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, La Ronde's International des Feux Loto-Québec welcomes ROZZI'S FAMOUS FIREWORKS, official representative of the United States and the ninth competitor in this year's run for the Jupiter trophies. The American team will strive to win the judges' hearts with its program titled "To Dream," based on the blend of
different cultures living in the United States. This year marks the fifth time that ROZZI'S FAMOUS FIREWORKS, a family company, has competed in Montréal. The company won the Silver Jupiter in 1992.
"To Dream" is an impressive pyromusical celebration that is both based on, and pays tribute to, the many ethnocultural groups that make up the face of the United States today. Based on that theme, the American team will use fireworks and music to re-create a surreal mix of eclectic elements that come together to form a symbiotic whole.
Highly synchronized and accompanied by an original score of 10 songs, including jazz, rock, pop music and film music, "To Dream" will entertain spectators with a beautiful, complex and emotional journey that combines fireworks and music in perfect harmony.
The American team has pulled out all the stops in an attempt to dazzle spectators at Place du Canada and La Ronde. The display will include impressive pieces, including a huge wheel over 6 metres in diameter and four wheels that are about 5 metres in diameter. All the wheels are made of two mobile rings that simultaneously rotate in opposite directions for a unique
and stunning effect. In addition, the American team will use several suspended rotating diamond-shaped fireworks to add rhythm and originality to the display.
"To Dream" promises to be a very colourful display and will include striking nautical pieces, flying saucers, sky mines and Magic Fire pieces (which have a microchip for exceptional precision). ROZZI'S FAMOUS FIREWORKS created over half of the pieces that will be used during the show at its factory in Loveland, Ohio, and imported the rest from Spain, Italy and China.
Founded in 1895, the family-run ROZZI'S FAMOUS FIREWORKS has staged several large-scale pyrotechnical displays throughout the world and has become a master in combining the ancestral art of pyrotechnics with the various technologies used in the 21st century. "To Dream" is a combination of these two styles. |
