Thanks a lot, Paul.

If you want to contact me, you can use the E-Mail Address I gave you in my previous message: travis2@videotron.ca

Another thing, since the 2004 schedule is announced in January, does that mean that they are currently looking for the new competitors, as we speak? How long does it usually take to get it all worked out and ready to go? I find this pretty interesting to know.

Thanks again!

Trav.

That's pretty fast, two weeks? That's right after the competition!

I guess they're always busy!

I hope the company "Pyrotechnia Igual" or "Caballer" plays for Spain next year, if they show up, that is.

Spain hasn't been seen since 2001, that was the last time I saw their show and it was a BIG BANG!

I had a dream about them again last night, and man what a dream that was, but it was too good to be true!

10 months is far too long till summer and the Mondial SAQ!

Enkil is right. The planning for the next season starts almost immediately after the end of the current one, with a bit of time in between for some vacation. So the competitors start to be chosen in August of the previous year.

There are a lot of logistics to sort out, especially the shipping of each team's fireworks. For the Asian/Australian competitors, they have to be ready to ship by January or Februrary of the year of their display.

Rumour has it that there may well be two Spanish competitors next year since all the teams will be previous Gold Jupiter winners. This is because next year will be the 20th edition of the competition and so will be very special. I think we're all in for a treat!

Are you serious, Paul?????? You just made my day!

I like that rumour a lot!!!

Two Spanish competitors......hmm.....My dream is coming true! I can't wait for 10 months to elapse and find out! I'll have to wait on the schedule in January! Paul, will you be posting the new schedule in January?

Wow, were into 20 years already next season....that's incredible! Let's see, 1985-2004, yes, it will be 20 years next season! There has to be something special next year. Also, next year will be my 15th year seeing the competition since 1990! It's been a while!

BTW, I checked the calender for next year in July and I think that there might be a display on my birthday! My birthday is on July 21st and that day is a Wednesday next year! That's gonna be way to much excitement for me that day, indeed! Isn't that great?

Anyway, thx a lot for the info. Like Paul said, I think we will be in for a treat next year!

Hey Paul, do you have anymore rumours we should know about? lol

I completely forgot about this contest!

I don't think I could have entered anyways.

I was missing FAR too many requirements! So, either way, I couldn't participate! Enkil and I had the same problem!

How many competitors were in this contest anyways?

Well whatever, congrats, Paul!
