What are the legalities of doing some basic pyro experiments in Canada? I wanted to do a few demos for my kids of magnesium, zinc and aluminum based pyrotechnics, but someone told me that in order to buy that in Canada one needs a license. In the country I came from one does not need any kind of license for any kind of pyrotechnics (high explosives is a no-no however).
