There was a crew from CBS-Burlington at La Ronde for Pyrotecnico show. The journalist Keagan Harsha has visited the firing ramp, has attended to the display and has interviewed some people in the audience. The report should be on-air tomorrow, Thursday... I suppose during the local TV newscast.

I believe there will be a feature on their 6pm news tonight. The crew interviewed various people in the audience both before and after the show. Hopefully they will have something up on their website: http://www.wcax.com

That was a great report about the Montreal competition, with substantive footage of the display. Unfortunately, I don't find the full story on the station website. However, a transcript of the report is available, as well as various information about the Montreal competition and area:

That's a kewl reportage about our competiton. I'm still trying to figure out how to save the video onto my computer!

However, I strongly disagree with the director of the competiton when she said that "it's not the quantity, but the quality." I say the quantity is as important as the quality. And I'm sure most of the public agrees with me, even though the competiton is nowadays more focused on creativity, and other aspects, besides an intense finale, are required to win an award. But I still remind myself that the finale is obviously the aspect of a fireworks display that excites people most, so I disagree!
