Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the music used as the pre-intro theme music (after the announcements and presentations of the pyrotechnicians, before the show starts)? It's got a lovely low pulsating sound...

Cheers,
Daegan

It's the Overture from the Bounty soundtrack (by Vangelis). They also use the last song from the CD just before the show starts.

Isn't the title 'Chariots Of Fire' by John Williams? They use that song every year in the presentation.

Chariots of Fire is also by Vangelis. They normally use it just before Michel Lacroix is introduced.

See this old topic for the complete list of songs (near the middle).
